Assistant Greenkeeper/Mechanic
The Assistant Greenkeeper/Mechanic role at Waterton Park Golf Club offers a unique opportunity to work in a stunning setting while contributing to the maintenance and upkeep of the club's high-quality facilities.
Your duties will involve both mechanical work in the workshop and hands-on greenkeeping tasks across the 18-hole course.
Here’s a quick overview of what the role entails and the qualifications we are looking for in candidates.

Handle the daily operations in the workshop, including machine setup and maintenance scheduling.

Perform diagnostics and repairs on a range of golf and turf machinery Service Maintenance.

Conduct regular servicing on machinery as per manufacturer specifications.

Maintain accurate records of all repairs, servicing, and maintenance schedules.

Support greenkeeping tasks such as mowing, surface care, and daily course setup, and work on course development projects.

Ensure all premises and maintenance areas remain clean and orderly.

Able to collaborate effectively or work independently as needed.

Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Familiarity with turf maintenance practices and equipment operation.

NVQ Level 2 in Greenkeeping; PA1, PA2, and PA6 spraying licenses

Working Hours - Monday to Friday - 8 hours per day, 1 in 3 weekends, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
