Which membership is right for me?

There are eight options of membership, which one suits your circumstances:

Assistant Greenkeeper: This is the entry level for all those starting out on their journey to become a greenkeeper, although experienced greenkeepers can enter directly as a Full Member. The cost is dependent on age. Progression to Full Member status can be achieved on completion of an NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or higher.
Annual fee: Aged 21 and over (2A) £100; aged 20 and under (2B) £40

Full Member:  Experienced greenkeepers with level NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or higher or who have been greenkeeping for three years or more can enter directly as a Full Member. Cost is dependent on position.
Annual fee: Head Greenkeeper/Course Manager (1A) £225.  All other levels of greenkeeping qualified (1B) £133

International: Any greenkeeper/Superintendent working outside of the UK.
Annual fee: £145

Student: Applicable to individuals who are in full-time study related to the field of turf management.
Annual fee: £30

Retired: Members, on retirement,  and with 10 years continuous membership of BIGGA, may apply to transfer to the category of Retired member. Please contact the Membership Department for information.

Life: Life membership may be awarded at the discretion of the Board of Management to any Full Member whose contribution to the Association or Profession has merited such recognition.

Affiliate: Any person who is industry connected and does not come within the provisions of the above, for further information please contact the membership team on 01347 833800

Online by debit/credit card or by direct debit by 1  or 10 instalments (NB if choosing 10 instalment option a £5 admin fee will be added)
