Taking your quality of cut to the next level with Tom Stidder

Introduction: Tom is an independent machinery specialist with many years’ experience working in the golf industry as a technician, service manager, manufacturer employee and most latterly a trainer/consultant. He has been lucky enough to work at courses such as Gleneagles, The Wisley, Cabot Cape Breton, Goodwood, Great Northern, Dreamland, Dubai Hills, Royal Bled, Royal Copenhagen, San Roque, Dromoland Castle, West Sussex, London Club and many more.

Objective: This hands on one day workshop that will show you how to maximise the performance from your cutting units, keep them sharper for longer, set achievable heights of cuts according to specification, clip rate, attitude as well as reducing mechanical stress on the turf. This workshop will help to take your surfaces to the next level.

This workshop is aimed at Course Managers, Deputy Course Managers, Mechanics or First Assistants. It is limited to 8 people per workshop as it’s a hands-on practical day. Only one BIGGA member per club is permitted to attend.

CPD points/certificate of attendance will be available for attendees.
