The job:
John Deere is a pioneer in the professional turf industry, manufacturing some of the most advanced cutting equipment, precision sprayers, utility vehicles and compact tractors on the planet, serving golf courses and sports grounds across the world.
The Divisional Turf Technical Trainer role is intrinsic to the training programme delivered to John Deere’s dealer network, ensuring exceptional product knowledge. You will be responsible for all day-to-day aspects of the delivery and assessment of our global turf technical training curriculum to our dealer personnel. This will also include regional training activities, events, and supporting the wider John Deere turf business.
You’ll be working with a global team and given the opportunity to build an international network. John Deere will support you to develop your skills and your career.

Deliver our Certified Technician curriculum to our turf dealer network

Deliver our specialised product training curriculum to our turf dealer network

Support the execution of strategic sales and marketing training events and activities

Mentor dealer personnel to grow their capabilities during their development journey

Ensuring we deliver value to delegates, through your training and facilitation

Be responsible for all components of virtual as well as face-to-face training delivery

Maintain and develop training aids, workshop facilities, and resources

Attend meetings, contribute to specific local, regional and global development projects and activities

Be expected to travel for up to 30% of your time.
Experience and qualifications:
-
Qualified engineer, to degree level, equivalent, or time served

Clean driving licence
-
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office
-
Industry experience is desirable but not a requirement
-
Training experience would be an advantage
